They say "Do what you love, and you'll never work a day in your life".  I graduated with a degree in Medical Technology---that was not my passion.  Thirty years, five grown kids, and hundreds of home decor magazines later I opened Whispering Pine in Grand Lake, Colorado.  That is my passion!! 

  Grand Lake is a resort town on the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park.  We have visitors from all over the country and even the world!! 

  Whispering Pine is my mini department store.  We sell mostly Home Decor which includes Kitchen Accessories, Gourmet Foods, Bar and Entertaining Items.  We are so proud of our Artists and Artisans.  Linda Israel is a hometown artist who is collected both nationally and internationally and is featured in numerous galleries across the country.  Bryan Burns creates unique sculptures and the most beautiful aspen branches from iron and copper.  Aspen Cove Studios supplies us with beautiful vases carved from fallen Aspens.  Our baby boutique gives me the chance to still indulge in all things baby - now that even our Grandkids are growing up.  We also have great lines of Women's Apparel and unique jewelry. 

  In 2018 our oldest daughter, Julie, joined our WP family to help with ordering and manage our website.  We have a wonderful group of ladies who manage our store and whom I consider not only employees but also friends.

  We believe that the spaces we live in, the things we wear, and the little touches we choose all play a part in creating a beautiful life.  Our hope is that we have curated a collection that brings joy, warmth, and personality to your home and lifestyle.
